GENERAL INTRODUCTION
Flipchick is a roguelike game released by developers filgreen3 and pe4Q07 as an entry for Brackeys Game Jam 2026. Players control a small bird navigating sewer battles using a deck of specially designed coins. The game challenges you to survive six days. You will participate in a boss battle on the final day.
GAMEPLAY RULES
Position on the grid is critical. You choose two coins from the available deck in a standard turn. These coins will determine exactly what the bird can do, such as attack, defend, or swap places.
When your turn ends, the enemies will execute their tactics. Each enemy's attack method is different. However, if the coins on the screen don't allow you to act strategically, you can shake the application window to shuffle your choices. Between battles, players need to manage their deck and health. Add new coins to the spin. Additionally, you have a chance to receive perks such as first attack, sneak attack, or knockback.
Controls
- Left-click to select your action coin.
- Click and hold the top bar of the game window, then quickly shake it from side to side to reselect action coins.
