General introduction
Growden.io is a vibrant online farming game that combines management, exploration, and community elements. Players start with a small plot of land and a few basic seeds, gradually expanding into a colorful garden. The game's player community is enormous. You can meet other players from all over the world, join shared rooms, chat, share, or even receive gifts from generous farmers. Besides farming, players can also raise pets, participate in special weather events, and enjoy unexpected results from mutated plants.
DETAILED GAMEPLAY
You start with $10 carrot seeds, which disappear after harvesting. You can then upgrade to $50 strawberry seeds, progress further with $100 blueberry seeds, or even rare $800 tomato seeds. The rarer, the more valuable!
Planting and harvesting
- Buy seeds in the shop.
- Click on them in your inventory to pick them up.
- Place the seeds in the brown soil plots in the farm.
- Wait for the plants to grow; in the meantime, you can meet other farmers or shop.
- When the plants mature, press the E key to harvest.
- Sell the plants in the shop to receive rewards.
During weather events, crops can mutate into silver, gold, or rainbow or even become gigantic – an extremely rare form. Currently, there are five weather phenomena: day, night, desert, rain, and frost.
Upgrading journey
Once you've mastered the basics, you'll want to save up to buy the ultimate seed. Moon Blossom costs tens of millions. Before reaching this level, you'll encounter many basic seeds like eggplant, bamboo, peppers, cauliflower, and many others. Each time you acquire cherry blossom or candy flower seeds, your income can increase to six or seven figures. Coins and hearts that are scattered along the way help you purchase new items and increase the number of lives you have. You can buy eggs to raise up to five garden pets. Pets will assist you in harvesting your produce while you are away.
