In That's Not My Neighbor, players take on the role of a security guard in an apartment building whose job is to identify Doppelgangers.
In the fictional world of That's Not My Neighbor, Doppelgangers are a constant threat. Players take on the role of a security guard hired by the Doppelganger Detection Department to identify these impostors. Players can use a variety of methods to verify tenant identities and eliminate Doppelgangers.
A physical examination is the easiest way to detect a Doppelganger. Some Doppelgangers will have physical abnormalities such as an extra or missing body part, an inappropriate hair color, or an inability to speak. However, some Doppelgangers can provide convincing reasons for their odd appearance.
You will receive a daily visitor list in your capacity as a security guard. Some Doppelgangers don't know who is on this list and may impersonate people who are already in the building.
Each visitor must have a valid photo ID to present when entering or leaving the apartment building. Players need to make sure that the photo, ID number, ID expiration date, and DDD logo of the other person are correct. Don't forget to carefully check the spelling of the visitor's name on the ID. Sometimes, simply missing a letter can cause you to miss the Doppelganger.
In addition to using the visitor's ID, players can use the Entry Request or the guest profile provided by the game to identify themselves.
In That's Not My Neighbor, there are two scenarios where the player must utilize their phone. In the first case, the player needs to determine whether the visitor is a neighbor of a certain resident. After the visitor has passed all the first checks, you still suspect that they are a Doppelganger. At this point, you need to call the resident's apartment to verify. In the second case, the player must use their phone to detect the Doppelganger. If you suspect that you are talking to a Doppelganger, press the red button on the left side of the screen to activate the alarm.
